the first combo was very inefficient. loci is one card combo, they didn't have to use one for one (or could have saved the normal summon). and Borea can send the loci equiped to search (instead they discarded). Also, they banished two jasmines to ss back bengha which is not what you want to do because sunseed twins can summon them back for more search.

This is one of those decks where if you don't play on PC and know the deck really well, the timer is your real opponent.

Not really. Unless you're BMing and/or overextending. If you're playing Rikkas wrong, like alot of ppl, you have one shot for a good board. So the opportunity to overextend can lead to a timed situation.

@@strangevol5264 I rather face a floodgate deck than a combo deck that ends on 5 negates. Both decks are impossible to beat when going seconds but against floodgates you at least don't waste as much time.

Fun fact: half your victories as a combo player in master duel is making your opponent surrender rather than wait for you to finish your set up

@@Rod_C96 In my opinion combo decks are for Solo play. You can have fun doing your combos and take all the time you need. But they are nothing you should use in online play.

as some said this deck can do more, it able to end with sunavalon link 4, benghalancer, hyperytron, regulus, teardrop then whatever for last one as flex slot like naturia monsters for "floodgate" or sweet marjoram for targeting protection and disruption trough blessed wind depend on your opening hand but 1 card combo at least able to end with first 4 monsters. Mardel is the only garnet that quite mess the combo unless u only play 1 sunseed twin which in that case also become garnet yeah it doesnt have backup plan once breaked due to massive extra deck used but the showcased deck dont have much follow up anyway once it's broken so might as well go for more and yes this deck quite fragile to HT if opp know where to negate during combo

Add a mudan into the combo with snowdrop and you can end with an additional interruption with Rikka Sheet

Or add mardel, tytannial, and naturia rosewhip. If you have full combo and hard draw lily, rosewhip or snowdrop you can search lonfire and use lonfire to make tytannial at the end of your combo. You will have the same end board as the video, plus floodgateing your opponent into only being to activates 1 spell/trap on their turn, and a quick effect negate of any effect that targets

This combo can be even better if you summon mardel in the far right zone off the first jasmine -Search laurel, summon lurel, use healer and laurel to make 2nd jasmine. -Search lily and snowdrop. Use lily combo, get field spell, search Regulus -use bottom jasmine and lily to make first link 3 use seed and other jas to make 2nd link 3. Summon dryas off seed search shrine. -Pitch a card with shrine effect, banish twinseed, banish dryas, summon jasmine. Use shrine to summon seed, make healer. Search Naturia Rosewhip. -Use healer and middle link 3 make big tree search Bloom. -Summon regulus. Use other link 3 and jas, make resurgent. -Tribute resurgent for snowdrop. Summon rosewhip. Use snowdrop effect. Make the rank 8 with mardel and snow. -Bring back resurgent pass, But - IF you summoned first seed off unexpected dai and drew one of your searches, use your last search to search lonfire blossom normal it and summon tytannial. -Naturia rosewhip reads your opponent can only activate 1 spell or trap for turn. -tytannial is quick effect tribute a plant (itself) negate of any effect that targets a card

Sunavalon is capable to do much more than what was showcased here. With my deck I’m able to end on cactus bouncer to prevent any special summons, Naturia rose whip to prevent your opponent from spamming spells and traps. Aromage sweetmarjoram with blessed winds to pop cards and gain life points plus targeting protection for plants. Therion king Omni negate Bengh to bounce back monsters and aromaseraphy jasmine protecting cactus bouncer and any other plant that it’s pointing to from being destroyed by battle plus the trap negate and any other backrow negate that I may have in my hand or hand traps. 🙌

I had this deck get going in me one duel and saw how powerful it was. Only thing about it is once you stop the link 1 then you basically stop the deck in its tracks. Deck needs more help than other decks to stay afloat it seems.

Salmangreat is good for new player because of the pack for 500 gems you get most of UR unlike zoo tri that you need to pull for copies.

The full power of this deck could generate 7-8 interuptions. We lack rikka fairy and the konkon. This deck is amazing. But, the cons of this deck is too much using extra deck. Once opponent wipe the board (e.g droplet/drnm) there is almost impossible for rikka to comeback. The interuption of this deck is unique, tribute. But it is not gonna be effective if the opponent is tearlament. Or perhaps, tear release date is still pending, i do not know it.

With the new support you can easily tribute your opponents monsters on activation (or for cost as we Yugioh players tend to say) and that is why the deck won the European Championship while Tearlament was running around because that does not trigger the Tear effects because they have to be send to the GY by a card effect specifically. And I imagine the Rikka support will be released in the next Selection Pack together with Tearlaments.

Only issue with this plant deck is if you do break the field they have 0 follow up because they use there entire extra deck for that board

that's fixed with the rikka support, rikka sunavalon with princess and konkon puts a really deceavingly powerful board and also followup with petal and whatever is left on hand, this version on the video is like, fr powerful as well but i think is a little more bricky

Most decks lose if you have a hand of board breakers, that's just how strong they are. But, most decks in Diamond don't really play these board breaker cards. The biggest issue for the deck is handtraps, but with a good hand you can still play around them

peoples complaining about sunavalon long combo really haven't played MD long enough to have the audacity to single out that deck. there's adamancipator shuffles fiesta, Danger try hard, Salamangreat round robin, six samurai draw machine, trickstar burn roll out, floo's unending birds flocks, code talker U lock link combo, clear mind synchron and oblivious Branded player that just copying desk list that made them think exactly 179 seconds on the timer to complete their board with the usual 2 tax dragon, 1 face down branded in red, 1 droplet or call of or imperm and 1 mirror jade. that doesn't count the annoying plays on opponent standby phase or turn that took almost as long as their turn type of decks, Plays moar.
