Prepare Your Horse to Lunge

How can I get a horse to do this? Everytime I try to get him or her to go around me they just keep turning towards me and moving their backend. Can you give me some tips?

Last year my horse lunged real nice, then she was injured and was not lunged for 4 months or more. Now when you want her to move she kicks out and bucks, she also charges. When I try and get her to move with the whip she charges me. I don't have any idea what to do.

MistyThe OTTB I have to wonder if your horse is on pain when making circles. If not she probably fears pain since her injury. After a paddock accident my horse fears lunging with his right leg to the inside. I'm going at a walk only in that direction just to show him I won't hurt his bad leg. We will work back up from there.

My horse does not let me go to the middle of him he turn to me and faces me .😅
