As an audio editor / mixer I would LOVE to say thank you Christopher for this video. This is professionalism!

Thanks a lot! I've been stuck for a couple of hours trying to figure out what to do with a 40 min project full of nested clips. You saved my day :)

I'm editing a 40 second trailer and I'm trying to mix the audio properly in audition. I am waiting to open the AAF in Audition right now and for some reason it's taking ages.

Thought you might revert back all the clips to their original levels, as most directors/producers want a decent sounding screener ie remove rubber banding etc. Also, wouldn't you send your mixer all the mics recorded for each take you cut, as they would have a better ear and could potentially clean a mic you otherwise thought corrupt?

I am not seeing an export AAF option in Adobe Premiere Pro 2022. My sound designer needs this - any advice? I'm on the newest Mac laptop

I'm screaming "Yes. YES." at the monitor like from "When Harry Met Sally." If you don't send your tracks to me organized... then how are you even keeping track of them yourself? Unless you're somehow limited by the number of audio tracks available, you should be doing this. I believe you can even name your tracks in Premiere Pro. Sifting through audio tracks just makes me add more hours to your bill or spend more of the budget organizing tracks rather than working on them.

thanks for this tutorial. hopefully someone can help me - i have a 45 minute webseries episode, but each scene was edited within its own sequence, and I compiled all the scenes into a master sequence for the full episode. I'd like to export the AAF from this "master sequence" if possible. Any ideas?
