You just picked up a new subscriber Mick. I love watching build videos!!! Excellent job in explaining what your doing. Can't wait for the rebuild. Looking forward to see how you assemble certain parts back on. 2 thumbs up 👍 👍

How did you detemined the height of the rear axle for the cassette hangers? #2: Can you lower the seat in the class you race in? The rules in my location will allow for you to lower the seat: From the bottom of the seat pan and go 2.000" below the tops of the rear tires! Thanks for any information!!!

Kevin, after reinforcing the frame I put the entire frame up on a 4" block (clearance rules minimum), had the rear tires mounted on the rims, sat it right next to the frame, and marked the center of the hole. then took a hole saw that was a little smaller than the weldments and drilled it. Next I welded the weldments on and got busy with a die grinder to make the frame match the weldments.

and the bottom of the seat is allowed to be a minimum of 13" ....so I welded the hinge part (after some cutting) to the frame, and stripped the seat and welded bolts to it. now I reach under the frame with the impact and put the nuts on to secure the seat to the frame at the minimum height allowed
