Doesn't breathing on the sterile field kind of make it not sterile?

I imagine you have a mask on to prevent too much air on it that’s not filtered

1:22 You can touch that 1 in. outside edge of the field without wearing gloves while you’re setting up the field, but you *must* be wearing *sterile* gloves (not the regular latex kind) when handling anything towards the inner part of the field. I’m studying to be a patient care tech and we just covered this earlier this week.

Die Händedesinfektion vor dem Herrichten war unzureichend und falsch. Beim Herrichten muss man eine Haube und Mundschutz tragen, zudem einen sterilen Kittel, damit nicht versehentlich eine Kontamination stattfindet.

Hmm. I’m in class to become a nurse’s assistant, and we’re taught that you need to wear a mask *if* you need to talk during a procedure with a sterile field.

النسبة بين الكومنتات و المشاهدات قليلة جدا اقل من 0.00001 من اللي شافو الفيديو عملو كومنت شيئ عجيب شوية ، لو حد شايف الكومنت بتاعي يعمل كومنت يقول فيه اي حاجة المهم احس ان الكلام دا مش مرمي في الـno where

You need to be at least wearing gowns and sterile gloves in doing this.

CST here, that field is contaminated because she did not use sterile gloves to pick up and unfold the towel to create the sterile field.

There is a one inch border that you are allowed to touch that is classified at the non-sterile field. As you can see, she is using a pinching motion around the border to maintain within this 1 inch non sterile field. If you are interested in more information look up “infection control”.

@@baileybarnett7301 Or you could remove the possibility of a human error of 1 inch non-sterile field by using sterile gloves.
