Is there a deposition video for someone on the other side - being accused of causing someone an injury? Someone who disputes the events as the plaintiff is telling them. How does that defendant avoid self-incriminating?

What is the situation around taking medication on a WC injury? I dont mind taking for a short period in acute stage but I really dont like taking long term, and if meds mask pain does that mean I am expected to take meds to work? Surely if I need meds to work that means I shouldn't be working? Do I have a say in what I put in my body? My WC has been going on for 10 months and I am still experiencing pain but I dont want to take meds unless I have to, would rather tolerate the pain if possible
