that third game sums up 6 star lobbies recently... whole lobby rats and plays so careful and everyone just uses noob crutch weapons like shotguns, explosive crossbow, dolch p, centennial dum dum... it's so silly.

That third match is pretty much exactly how 3/4 of my matches have gone lately, regardless of what MMR it's in. Whether I'm solo or in a team, it's always me fighting the bounty team while they sit and hold angles inside, with the rest of the server sitting in their little spots around the compound taking shots at me when I happen to get into view. No one does anything unless I or my team do, then maybe if we or another team dies then one of the other teams will finally push. It sucks being the only one playing the game and getting punished for it because there's always at least one team doing nothing but waiting to pick off whoever is left when they're at their weakest. Any time I do actually fight a team that's aggressive, it throws me way off because I don't expect it any more. It used to happen occasionally, but it got really common during that time when the game had single boss only for a while. It seems like everyone learned to be rats during that time and now it's all they do.

A common problem in every extraction shooter/BR, you could say it's in the nature of the game. It's easy to do and gets you wins. People want to win and they hate dying, in this game especially they're willing to spend huge amounts of time avoiding dying. No easy fixes that I know of, and it's the main reason I haven't played Hunt in half a year. Once the relaunch happens, I'll have to see how games play in 3-4 stars where I play (can't find a streamer in that elo, they're all 5+) because for me it plays worse; those players sit in nonsensical spots and they're willing to sit for much, much longer. If people there keep doing this even after Aug 15th (and I don't see any announced features/changes that would change that), I don't see myself playing anymore.

@TheMeowse I have 2 account. The newest 1 I made was months ago and it started off in 3 stars. I usually play in 5 or 6 depending how drunk I am. Only had a few games in 3 star lobbies but man do I miss it. The literal chaos of hearing explosions right when the game starts is hilarious. Everyone was pushing like this was cod. I had a lot of fun. I didn't tryhard at all. Just joined in the chaos. Eventually I started playing with my duo partner and shot up in Elo again but I do miss my 3 star brothers. Actually some really good players in that elo.

@@RabidGummyBear The only players I ever hear say 3stars is fun are the ones who regularly play 5-6. I played 2,5-3 almost all the time (solo, impossible to climb) and it was worse than watching streamers not enjoy 6, which I've never reached. It's a matter of perspective I suppose but I hate low elo; you don't even die to meta, you just die to stupid shit because it's impossible to guess what those players will do. GG go next I suppose but it's humiliating for me as the player who tries to make the gameplay happen. One last try from me after Aug 15th.

@TheMeowse I hear ya. That's actually what I enjoyed about it. The unpredictable nature of it. I actually died a few times because I thought the opposing hunter was gonna do something, and they did the exact opposite of what a 5-6 star hunter would do. I've been playing nothing but 6 star lobbies the past 2 weeks and I won't say I don't enjoy it. Have some super fun matches, but most just boil down to the most passive playstyles.

Something I would like to see from a bullet drop update is the ability to set a "zero" it doesn't have to be much just a "50-100-200" foot zero would suffice in nearly every single iron sight weapon. And to make scopes a bit less strong they only get a single unchangeable zero. Worked great in BF1 and I'm sure it will be fine in hunt. But without an option like that some sights (that have zeroing notches on the gun) will be a pain. That said....I could see it being a "feature" of the gun rather than the norm. Like how the silenced sights are already pegged to the top so you get no zeroing options while a standard bolt hun has them

Pretty sure the bullet drop change is meant to contain fights within compound range, and made engagements beyond that more of a skill check. Adding zeroing would take away a layer of difficulty for longer range fights imo

Adjustable iron sights and only iron sight would be great addition to the game. It will not only have small advantage over scope (you are forced to manually adjust shots to land them) but also reduce complaints from crybabies related to bullet drop

17:19 Not only 6 star, every duo 3-4 star game is the exact same, only shotguns or long ammo meta weapons. Me and my duo always have to be the ones to make the first move. MMR change really messed something up.

There's always these players no matter MMR I believe, I have to singlehandedly push into buildings around bosslair to kill of everyone camping waiting as a solo, and then the bosslair as well. It is ridiculous.

As a 5 star player with 1K hours I am honestly excited for billet drops, old vets say they don’t which makes sense but I believe having bullet drop will be a new skill in the game that will make players smarter with guns, I find it really annoying dying to a guy who flicks shots with a regular Winfield at 70m headshot.

300h player and i was exited for bullet drop until i saw how bad it is on recent video. Basically almost impossible to land your shots using iron sights if target is over 150m. I think if bullet drop on release will be as on video, they will revert this change because of complaints BUT it will be completely fine if they add ability to adjust iron sights on every weapon or simply make bullet drop less significant.

Are you blind? They were pushing the compund like crazy. I had a match when they all 3 had shotguns and we had to push the compounds because we got into last 5 minutes of the match and they never peak a window, nor they move from there, the last match was aggressive playstyle from rachta team and also the other

i uninstalled the game honestly just because how stupid the solo experience is, just use shotgun and camp.. sad honestly. bolt rifles are fun in this game. now i just prefer to watch some clips and remind myself why i dont wanna touch this game anymore XD

Hit registration is client-side and only sends it to the server for validation. If your shots aren't hitting, you're just missing.

That's the standard conversion pistol. The easiest way to spot the difference between it and the uppercut is the spare ammo pool. The uppercut only comes with 9, while the conversion pistol holds a lot more(can't remember the exact count). You can also see above his inventory bar that it says the name of the skin when he switches to it. It shows "Ash" every time he switches to the pistol, so you can look that name up on the store to find it.

As someone who uses snipers 90% of the time, most people who use snipers just play like Vietnam veterans If that’s ur playstyle sure, but the game catering towards it has always been ass; requires little to no skill, it annoys everyone, and just shows u have 10 hours to waste a day However, same goes for shotguns; shotty users got slugs and have forever been annoying, specially since theres no stuns and flashes were nerfed (that was needed though) 6* has become plagued with the absolute biggest 🐱

at the very least shotgun with slugs is high risk high reward. Sure, you have a powerful weapon that is strong close and mid range, but you put yourself at risk by having to play aggressive. Sniping from afar while waiting 45 minutes per game is just low risk, high reward. As long as you have time to waste...
