Id run a bit of a thicker oil considering ur taking it to the track and that ur in Florida. Id also overfill it just a bit its still a Subaru and u want to make sure there full at ALL times

Nice man! I would also add 1) tire pressure guage 2) Tire inflator 3) DOT4 brake fluid 4) Track insurance 5)folding chair 6) Cooler for drinks and snacks for the day. Lastly just have fun and be safe

Wassup fam, I appreciate you taking the time to list of some suggestions that you’d think would be necessary to have. I actually just got a tire pressure gauge today for this, idk how I didn’t already have one 😅 I’ll for sure look into the brake fluid though, might come in handy. @@Justinackerman_ yea man as you get more comfortable with the car you will go faster/also will start braking harder. Upgrading to DOT4 brake fluid has higher boiling point and trust me, you do NOT want have no brakes because you cooked your oem DOT3 fluid. I personally use ATE200, but you can also use Motul RBF, or If youre a baller, Castrol SRF. But at minimum 1) upgrade your brake fluid to DOT4, and 2) track insurance

The brakes did overall pretty decent out on track. I could definitely feel them starting to get hot, and mushy. The next time I go out on track I’ll try to more of your suggestions out to see how much of a difference it will help make. Thanks for the support 🤝💙

@@Justinackerman_ glad to hear man! Good thing you can feel them as they start to get mushy so you can give them time to cool off. But yea the DOT4 fluid should definitely help with that. How many sessions did you get to do and how was the experience?

@@FujiboHeavy it’s was an absolute blast man, by far some of the best moments I’ve made with this car was driving on that track. Helped me learn some of the limits that I can push this car too on the current setup. I went out for 4 sessions, each one of them being like 20-30 minutes depending on how long it takes the other classes before us to pit in. I Definitely need to go back out there in the future when I have the car even better setup for something like this. I just don’t want to go full track mode on this thing just because I daily drive the car, but all your help and criticism really helps out and means a lot to me 🤝💙

TPMS and tire inflator is a must have. Your tires will be overinflated from the heat. Higher weight oil like 30 weight would also be good

18 inch wheels would be better with the extra sidewall and coilovers with enough camber youll fit 18x9.5 wheels. Not to mention they are lighter and cheaper tires

Yeah I can totally see how you may think that. They do like a bit big in certain angles. However I love the current setup on the car, feels amazing. Would like to maybe get some better tires, the ones I currently have are all seasons because of the rain here in Florida.

@Justinackerman_ continental sport contact 7 are good choice if its rainy if you can get them. Pilot sport 4s are also very good but not as good in rain.
