Yes but that didn't count in Sweden or something so she has to do it again... so basically she did her senior year in the US for the exchange experience, knowing she would have to do it again in Sweden

It doesn’t count, most of the times they don’t even give you a real certificate when you’re on exchange, they let you be on the ceremony for the experience but that’s it. Some exchange students are lucky and get to actually graduate but, in a lot of countries, you can only go to a private university if you only graduate high school in a foreign country. I was an exchange student in the US too and I did my senior year twice
