I am a garden witch. Nothing puts you in touch with the goddess as much as growing a beautiful garden. You become a true part of the life of the plants. One of the hardest lessons is how the balance of nature is so vital to your garden. If things go out of balance you notice pests and disease and too many weeds. Keep the environment healthy. Make compost and feed the soil, attract birds who eat the overgrowth of pests and put things in places they will thrive. Simple remedies work best like the copper strips to stop the snails eating soft shoots. So excited to see your new garden.

I have always loved Spring! Autumn and Spring are my favorite. I enjoy winter, I could live without summer. Mainly because it gets so hot here thing's - plants, flowers, herbs etc die. We won't get Spring here for another 4 to 5 weeks. I always enjoy your videos. Thank you. Blessings!

For the front cover of your book, how about a fairy sitting on a mushroom in moon light. The shed...paint it lilac which is a great colour against the greenery. A pale shade of lilac. Grow Honeysuckle over your arch, bees and butterflies love this climber. I have it in my garden which the pigeons like to eat from!! My front garden is a woodland garden which my son made 4 years ago. It was all concrete when I moved here. I don't think the neighbours get the woodland garden, they all have perfect lawns!! At the back with the space you do not know what to do with, how about a couple of bug/bee hotels? Nail them to the fence. Loved this video, thank you.

You are right and I’ve not quite looked at it correctly. I too need the winter to more appreciate the spring. Here we have the “Lenten rose” blooming and the “witch hazel”. The catkins on the “filberts” are providing for our native bees. Waiting for the “dead nettle” to bloom and I’ll plant “English peas”. Hurray spring.

I am starting my journey on the green witch path. I loved your video! I send you a hug from Colombia which is in my heart, but I'm living in Japan. I do not why but, I have a smile in my face and feel like crying... I have been here for four years and besides working, loneliness is what my live has turned into here..... but just recently I stopped looking outside where the solitude is wild and strong and started to see inside myself, to remember how I love nature, how much I love to draw, to listen birds and even try to replay them, to go and see how plants are growing and how eager I was to see a clear sky and wake up early to see the sun covering the wet grass...all those memories are from my childhood, and my grandmother 's spiritual life comes to my mind... and I feel that I want to follow that path as well, which is filling with joyce that solitude that I thought I did not want to have, but that I appreciate so much right now. I love this, you have given me motivation to do my garden it's been neglected... N so more now that my mom has passed away. It's been 4 months. Her n I would garden all the time. We have so many fairy garden trinkets. She even made a pond for her gnomes, ceramic ducks n the fairies. It's now fill of ivy. Spring had spring here in southern California 🌻 we have a few cool days burr but I'm dedicating myself to fix the garden. Make room for faires. There is. Another beautiful inspiring video full of creative works. It’s got my mind going now, was thinking of ideas for my garden. I have to plan mine around my dog who likes to eat everything I touch in the garden but I still want it to look magical 🧙🏽‍♀️. For those who think fairy’s are bad, it’s not true. The unseelie are bad fairy’s who have not forgiven the humans for what happen so we leave them alone and they leave us alone. The fairy’s who have forgiven the humans and have agreed to work with us again, you can call on them and they will be there. They are there anyway if you are of a magical nature, sat watching what your doing waiting for you to invite them. Live in balance 💕

I think the book is beautiful, I thought of the front cover of the book should have the tree of life with fire flys, dragon flys and butter flys flying around the tree..I love the first signs of spring. I always see a butter flying the begining of spring and a butterfly at the end of summer.in between I see all beautiful insects flying and walking. Awww lovely book Alwyn - its inspiring me to think about what I want to plant this spring. We moved into a new build house last autumn and we have our pots but otherwise we need to start from scratch. It's exciting. I've actually just posted a video on my channel where I discuss this (it's my how I make a mullein salve video) but I did find two baneful plants growing wildly in our garden - wild lettuce and black nightshade, and worked with the plant spirits a bit. It's been fascinating and rather alarming too. Because we have two little ones and animals, we will be removing them from the garden but they are so wonderfully witchy! I'm planting some mugwort first I think and then lots of culinary herbs and then some trees. But I need a plan. Thank you for the inspiration 🙏

When I was a child I loved the tadpoles in the stream running through our backyard. I enjoyed listening to and seeing your magical fairy woodland. You could make your book cover with ivy and have some hanging so you have to push it aside where behind are mushrooms and fairies having a party together. The ivy doesn't need to be real leaves, maybe make them from green material or paper. It would be like a portal effect. Blessings.

Such a beautiful video Alwyn, this one really resonated with me! As a forest photographer, my heart will always lie within the forest, and I strive to make my home and garden reflect that. As for the corner next to the shed, maybe a tiered shelving unit would be nice, so you can display more pots for herbs and flowers and make use of the vertical space that way! Aaah I loved this video! Moodboards are honestly one of my favourite crafts to make. I love the whole idea of focusing on your garden this year and planning out the herbs and flowers you will grow! The fairies knew that storm was coming thats why they built those mushroom steps 😂

love it 😍for a book cover ....You could colour in dark green the book cover with a leather or tree 🌳 branch effect and in a middle make a arch form with clay ( like you did other BOS) and glue fairy card printed similar from your earth magic deck in it 🙂 I’m truly grateful to Universe for souls like you and others who guard and look after our mother Earth 🌍 in any way they can - as Earth is a living and feeling Being who loves us all beyond believe ❤️ Also faeries 🧚 appreciate and love if we are respectful and loving towards Creation and they give us signs like mushrooms on your tree 🌟
