Preparing For The Funeral In The West (Nawaka, Nadi)⚰️🇫🇯

In this vlog we are in Nawaka Nadi to attend a funeral.
When we arrived with did the reguregu protocol and after that we had lunch.
In the afternoon we prepared food for the guests that are coming for the reguregu and in the late evening we served grog to the arriving guests.

I love watching the different ceremonies (kava drinking funeral, etc): even though they are new to me; as an African there is something very similar about them : as they remind me and are similar to some of our ceremonies also. I wonder if there is a link between the Fijian people and Africans?
