Congrats on the 10k glad to see your wonderful channel growing many many more I pray will come. Also maybe you should add to the budget when you can to get a generator so when lose power you can use that to get power in the home for small tasks here in Texas where I am when we got hit by tornado right after Christmas few years back was not ready for that and generator was hard to find I froze in a cold house for days but sent my daughter off to my dads cause I still had to work was out of power for a week the generator saved my food and allowed me to cook some things for myself and finally get little heat in the home to stay warm but after all was over I still ended up sick with bronchitis story of my life

Maybe you could consider saving for a generator? They can be expensive, however, it is a good investment. Considering where you live, a generator would be helpful . Could help keep your food cold and phones charged. We bought one in hopes our food in our deep freeze / refrigerator would not be lost in case of power outage. We live in Oklahoma so during Spring and Summer we tend to be at risk for that. ***Home insurance does not cover loss of food. We have worked hard to get our food supply up and it would be over a $500 dollar loss which is not easy to replace ! *** If you do decide at some point in the future to invest in one, please consider a push button start. The ones you have to pull a cord to start can at times be hard and I cannot even do it. However , the one you just push a button is easy for both my husband ( who has shoulder issues) and myself :) Anyways... glad you guys are safe and doing well. You take very good care of your home and family:)

Something you can do to help keep your fridge and freezers cold longer ..... freeze water in jugs (heavy plastic like lg clamato juice jugs) ....keep them in your freezers and fridge - it takes longer for a block of ice to melt. You don't have to kept them frozen when you're not under a threat, just store some until you need them.

I'm in Virginia and the storm started around 1 or 2 am. The total rain amount here was almost 4 inches. We had a lot of wind and some down trees in my area. Thankfully no one was hurt and by 9am Tuesday the storm was gone and the rest of the day was beautiful. I am so glad y'all were safe and very prepared. 😉😊

Just a suggestion for your little one with allergies I've used local grown honey for years and it took care of my allergies without the need for medication. I don't know if diet wise it's something that works for you but I thought I'd suggest it.

I am from the eastern part of NC. Please get a generator, even a small one. Harbor Freight, Lowe's, Home Depot etc. sells them. You can get a small for a couple hundred dollars. Be safe! Praying for you.
