The dynamite tip is essential for solo play where you encounter lots of walls blocking the way down. Interesting to see the double flint torch in action with the net as well. I feel this stage of the game has the steepest learning curve so it was great to see in action.

That double flint axe method is great for about the first 10 levels. They make for great light sources and great attacks early in.

Tip. Some of the ore that goes in the terrain you can get two ways. Either use the bag scoop method, or net, and move it across the rock. The other way is you can grab at the rock and still pick it up. This happens to me when trees fall into bushes. Wont get it all but you can recover some of it.

You can use fireworks instead of dynamite to break down walls btw 🧨

u can hold trigger them aim the palm of ur hand at the item u wanna pick up

you know if you hold trigger and point your hand the right way you can pick things up from a distances

Seems like occulas is dead. I've been playing a couple days. Built most bridges, found all shrines. Preparing to go in the mine. No one has joined the server at all. Was looking online and it seems like most the people are toxic kids anyway. Kinda sucks, the game is great, even better when we actually get the updates pc has. Feels like playing 7 days to die on xbox right now, watching everything alpha 21 has already while we are still on alpha 16.

I agree, when it comes to the Oculus itself is pretty much dead. I haven't played in months due to lack of content.

@@martelen there are a few servers with people but they all seem full. The ones I've seen are either empty or full. Its weird though because when I did tutorial it was full of people. Everyone must be just making their own servers. Might just join another. 🤷‍♂️

How do you tell the difference between gold and iron

One looks like Gold and the other looks like Iron? In the video I show Gold Nodes and Iron Nodes. Very easy to tell apart.

Really would like to play this game I got it a year ago but have no one to play with. I hate those official servers, toxic little kids and people who just give you stuff (I got the game to collect and craft not have things handed to me).

It's true! The game is literally about collecting and crafting and that's about it currently. Without that then its nothing!

Theres a server im in called moon valley and it has nice people, no toxicity, and you can choose if you want stuff given to you or not.

the difference between iron and gold is hard to see

Gold nodes tend to be more round than iron, iron is darker and jagged compared to Gold nodes.

With an iron pickaxe or better grade than iron.

Worms are easy. You can cheese those guys. Just set your height to lowest and duck in real life. Get right next to them and wail on them. I just spam duel daggers on them. Even the blue guys can't hang.

@@martelen For turabadas (did I spell it right?) using that explosive arrow is good or duel wield some pick axes works well for me. Even the big tough ones seem to fall relatively easily.
