I watched your channel for years and love your informative videos! I had my Ozzie for a year and he is having his first winter! I didn’t know about activity being affected by season changes, so I began to panic when my ferret gained much weight and sleep more and stop caring for playing. He was acting really lazy but never had anything wrong with him. I thought he had so many bad diseases because our local vet said to keep an eye on him for lethargic actions after previously taking him in for hair loss on his tail..which eventually grew back. Turns out he just had winter mode, haha! He grew a thick coat that was lighter, slept longer then usual, didn’t wanna play much, eating, drinking, and pooping seemed normal. Watching his diet more and moving him around to make sure he won’t turn into a floofy slug! Merry Christmas!

My dad won’t let me get a ferret because he had a bad experience with them, he said that his friends had a ferret who’s litter box went all the way up the wall and would poop on it. Do you know why they had this?

When you prep for the week, do you freeze the meat in the container?? or dont freeze it at all?

I keep 2-3 containers thawed for Genn and the ferrets and freeze the rest :)
