what happened to the furnace if you shut off main water valve furnace needs water to function

Empty fridge of food that can expire. Everything else is not only okay, but will help minimize fridge run-time. Better yet, dump the milk and put a couple of gallons of water in the refrigerator to help even more.

55 degrees in FL will actually kill my electricity bill haha (assuming that was a tip for a northern state). Question - When turning off the water do I need to get the remaining water out of the line by turning on the faucets? I also read online they said to keep the faucet open? That makes me feel uncomfortable. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, drain it out, flush all toilets out. You can leave a kitchen faucet on, that way if water flows, it will drain directly into the sink and won't flood your house. 😊

Can I please eat my words now? I left a bag of trash in middle of the floor. It had all kinds of gross food stuff and smelly rotten food. Luckily i was able to get a neighbor to come and grab it. I guess I do need to add to the list as you said. Sorry I have a big mouth😢​@@skeller61
