I remember guys on dsmtuners saying back in the day John Shepherd was running a heavy single act 3200, I know the single discs are easier to launch in regards to slipping but then you deal with the notorious clutch drag at high rpm’s lol

What I did on my old setup was use a proximity sensor on the shifter that only activates in first gear, once you pull back into 2nd the slipper is deactivated.

That would work if you're not running a dog box and have to clutch every shift.

I`m not up on the Mitsubishi stuff. What does DSM mean please? And what is NFT? I`m subbed now and I`m going to learn all about the 2 liter beast you have there. We had the Mitsu mini trucks back in the day,.

Hey man. Thanks for the sub! DSM stands for Diamond Star Motor. It was a partnership between Chrysler and Mitsubishi in the early 90's. NFT is the name of my car. It stands for N3Z FAB TALON.

@@N3ZFAB You got it. I did do all my own work on my cars back in my younger days and I do miss it sometimes. Now I have to watch all you younger guys do it on the Tube. And I do remember seeing you on PFI Speed before and now I can just watch and comment on stuff. I never criticize because I`m not perfect but I may make a suggestion or 3 LOL.. I never had anything fast and I wish I had now seeing all the Turbo cars. Peace out for now.

Have you thought about using ecu to deactivate the clutch switch? Based on speed or gear.

Yeah. But the parameters wouldn't work how I would need them.
