Composting is such a beautiful process, especially when you compost growth from your own garden back into it. I do open air composting at home, a lot of it is leaves as we have several pecan trees and two huge white poplar trees that make a ton of leaves but we also compost food waste and recently I've started composting cardboard, I've not tried the method Jun uses here, it looks really effective!

Omg, that looks beautiful! Great looking cabbages! Pickling any? If you let the flowers go to seed and feed the insects, you get lots of seeds! You can compost pretty good just with organic matter, water, capped with soil, keeping it moist. You could also just use the leaves as mulch. Keep it thick enough and it will break down, add nutrients, at the same time being a mulch for your garden. For invasive weeds, bury them deeply or rot them, to disable their invasiveness.
