Thank you so much for this! I just recently got into printmaking and was delightfully surprised when I learned some of the Japanese print makers use Holbein paints to get those beautiful transparent layers but was so confused what sorta magical paste they were adding to get them to stick! One question: should this be stored in any special way?

Thank you. You should store nori paste in some airtight container and keep it in the fridge. If you add hydrogen peroxide it helps to avoid molds and it lasts longer. Depending on weather condition it can last few days but usually prepare it before every printing session. If you need to keep it longer you can buy some pre-made nori paste in store since these contains also preservatives.
