I could see me doing all that electrical work and when done flipping the switch and the boat going up in a puff of smoke. Well done Mr. Lee.

t is highly recommended to place all lithium ion batteries in a dry lock box to prevent any water damage. These batteries are barely water resistant, stacking batteries in deep bilges cascade risks. However taking these extra precautions will increase the longevity of the battery, reduce fire and catastrophic battery loss.

I have to say I personally love the videos of Bella accepting and taking advantage of the multiple personalities, lol, as a parent it’s really fascinating how our kids evolve and come into there own,she has a great comical side, now we are waiting for Taj,

i have been down this track myself a few years ago. it was the start of ,what was once a simple life without too many dramas, into one full of "surprises" {not even mentioning the constant fear of an electrical fire}. After 3 years of trying to keep up with our ever increasing power consumption we decided we had enough of looking at volt and ampmeters. Yes! We chucked it all out and are back to where we started. No freezer, limited hot water and just a small inverter. Happy days are here again { sometimes i wish i had something to fix..}! The last two years living onboard our total expenses were less than what the whole electrical bad dream has cost us, Good luck with this guys..

Whiskers are great amount of space, but not great for cleaning up when plugging pipes! Stay strong, awesome dedication to finishing!

I am amazed at how much space is dedicated to systems in that boat. It seems huge compared to your old boat. No idea if that is all good, but I’m glad to see Lee able to be a bit more comfortable working on all of the different systems.

The "Joys" of project creep. At least you drained away another potential problem in a storm.

I am getting excited about the launch and on the water once again. Much more to come... I like how you think through the projects, Lee. These experiences make a lasting impression on us all, not just the family. New adventures coming up soon, and an eager man sits here in waiting!

Batteries in the bilge isn't a great idea. You get any kind of leak and you lose your electrics... That means early in a crisis situation, you lose radio, light etc. On my Cal 29 I shifted my batteries as high as possible.

Just wonder why the bowline wasn’t tied around both of the battery lift handles for the extraction?
