Absolutely! I just put in a kitchen faucet this weekend and saved myself $100 service call towards $150 + Thanks mom and pop just thanked Dad last week for letting me tag along !!

Just curious, what do you do in this realm when your child either doesn’t want to hear you out, or starts backing away from you? I’m in the midst of teen years and it’s hard on me as a single parent!

I don't have a teen, but I've seen this with my oldest child. I honestly have to pray. Ask God to give me the words to say. And if I noticed that I'm always disciplining. Why is that? What is going on in their hearts that I have not had compassion or empathy about? I noticed if I just make time for them, they slowly start coming around and opening up. Once they are open, I try to grace my words. It's not always perfect and this definitely challenges me
