Hello mam, please clear my doubt that Wait ke sath to koi preposition nahi aata. Wait for/ wait since ye nahi lagate hai. Wait ke sath to koi preposition nahi lagata for example he waits for 10 min is wrong, and he waits 10 min is right. Waiting ke sath aata hai for, na ki wait ke sath.

Mam here 2:33:45 you gave an example "I have been living here since a long time and I'm familiar to this place." But mam, you taught us earlier that we must use "for" while denoting a period of time. So can you please clarify.

"a long time" doesn't mean it is a period of time think carefully. A period of time means "the duration of time" but "a long time" doesn't suggest the "duration means how many years" of time, so there will be a "since" not a "for".
