Nice pantry!! I worked on mine for last 3 years, 60 #10 cans, 10 of the augason farms 2 week buckets, few fruit buckets, dehydrated lots of my own veggies, resealed lots of things in mylar bags, beans, rice, all types of stuff. Got over 1000 cans of different veggies, canned meats and fruit. Been a prepper for many years but didn't go this crazy until covid, that's when I ramped everything up. And you said you weren't going to put ac in the pantry, But I highly recommend you do get a ceiling fan in there, air circulation is a must! It'll keep it a bit cooler too, the heat CAN and WILL shorten the shelf life of the food! If it's above 72 degrees in the room, your foods shelf life will be nearly cut in half. 68-72f is best. Can't wait for future videos.

Not a bad pantry for a year and half. You have a lot more than most. We have been working on ours for about 5 years. We do a lot of canning, freeze drying, and dehydrating. I have a lot of Augson Farms products as well. Love the butter powder. I order a lot off Sams Club and get some meats from Dollar Tree believe it or not lol. We have our expensive canned and freeze dried meats but cheaper canned foods are better than nothing as well. We stocked things we love to eat and then stocked things to just get by on last. We are at the point we just rotate food now. As of late we have been working on getting energy independent for our home. Our camper is almost 100% solar and we have many replacement parts. Being a survivalist isn't cheap and you're right it is a lot of work! Good luck all. I hope we prepare and nothing happens but if it does, better safe than sorry like you said. I think a lot of people were woken up by C19.

Yeah, I am in rotate mode as well, adding a few new things as I catch them on sale. Power at my site is the last big thing for me to work on. But I need to build the 3rd floor first before the solar can go in. Thanks. Honestly prior to the lockdowns, I was not ready at all, so I I am in that group that decided to not allow that to ever happen again.

Impressive pantry! Perhaps consider adding a 25kg sack of lentils which can be stored for years in Mylar, excellent for curries, grinding down for flat bread, v nutritious…. Some spices (turmeric, salt, cumin, coriander etc but expect you have all of those!!!). A wondermill to grind down oats so you can make cookies and boost moral… might need sugar… 🙂 great to have all that space and shelving 👌

Mabuhay! Hello from Texas! I'm a Filipina married to a rancher. I just happened to see your video and I want to comment on how impressed I am that you were able to get Augason farms products all the way there! 😊 And kudos for bringing that mindset over there. Here in our working ranch, we have a few acres of food and I'm able to can a lot of them after harvest. We've invested in a freeze dryer a few years ago and it has been a blessing. My husband and I and our children are considering moving to Pinas. I understand things are not as good there but I'm sure it's much better than it is here. We are heading out there this year to check things out. God bless you and your family. P.s. I saw your range day video and you got a subscriber! 👍☺️

Thanks! the PH does have a larger than you would think prepper community, but its really low key. Folks out here learn you have food.. they are always at the gate. We made the move here 10 years ago, and from what I can tell the US has just gotten worse since. Sadly I just do not see it getting better.

@@PHExpatPrepper You're right. Things have gotten worse here just in the last 3-4 years. It has become unbearable. We live out in a rural area in Texas. Our little town is constantly on the edge. Despite us fortifying our ranch even more, we're unable to relax. This is not the America we grew up in. I'm glad I found your channel. I've watched a couple of your other videos and it has been very informative. What I like about your channel is that it's focused on an established family and the prepper mindset. Many expat channels are more focused on finding a wife and getting married. Thank you again. Happy New Year! Ingat.

I had to save up for sure, the dryers are not cheap. Try finding someone in your area that has one, to be honest, once I got a ton of stuff done.. I use it a lot less now. This is likely true for most FD owners. Time sharing with a prepper community does help with things like this.

No joke, a pantry is hard work. Yours is triple hard because you freeze dry a lot of your food. That organization is exhausting to keep up with. I’m having problems with rodents right now. i use to put it in freezer for 3-4 days. But then i had a out break of those little buggers. I was living in Texas at time and found that if i put it in freezer for a few weeks i wouldn't have any out breaks at all. I don't cook pasta often so it can sit on my shelfs for years. I tend to cook dried beans and fresh veggies with a good quality rice. I store dried beans in half gallon glass mason jars in lower kitchen cabinet. I used the cabinet above it to store spices and dried herbs. I don't like canned goods because i can taste the chemicals in the food. But i have learned to can stuff recently and i now can up my jars of shelf stable foods. I would love a freeze drier but i just can't afford one atm.
