Prepping a new body panel for paint

As a occasional painter I think i'll use a light scuff pad or i'll burn through to metal all over

What primer should I use on a panel just like this ???

Hi If I forgot to scuff new panel before primer. Can I scuff the primer for better adhesion or should I sand back down to e coat and scuff so i wont have problems? Please help. Thanks

Hello!! You dont add primer where you exposed the metal? Or does the sealer take care of those spots as well?
