I was one of the two hunters in the BigTex shaman death clip. He had windfury, fiery war axe with fiery weapon enchant, and rockbitter on. Our pets had barely started hitting the big guy because we were taking out the adds. Also the other hunter was four levels lower than Fozruk (or however it's spelled) so their pet was likely five levels lower and not hitting the boss hardly at all. To all the people in chat going, "Pet taunt?" Pets. Don't. Have. Taunt. Growl doesn't force agro, it's just a threat builder. So if he already has way over 100% threat, no pet growl is going to do shit for a little while. It would take several growls without Tex DPSing. Could I have war stomped/wing clipped? I thought about it, but by the time I realized we weren't going to out dps the damage taken, there's no way I could've reached him in time to actually save him (I was approx max range till the very end when he began to try that last heal). I considered doing a bandage tick or two, but sort of panicked between that and just doing a DPS race and I froze on that. Issue was ultimately that Tex had laid a hit on all of the mobs while the other hunter took one add and I took the other. Tex got agro on the other hunter's mob (remember, that hunter was four levels lower than the mobs, their pet five levels lower), a spider, his add, and Fozruk. After I killed my add I killed the spider (I used intimidate here to try and force the spider off of Tex, which worked), one of the other rats, then realized we really just needed to get Fozruk. At this point intimdate had been used via spider, rapid fire was down, and beastial wrath was on it's last legs. So when he got the windfury firey weapon proc on Fozruk? Yeah... that boy was stuck on like glue. Tex said he'd tagged em all because he saw the alliance player watching and was afraid that guy would take em (so was I, honestly). So he confirmed slapped em all. :( RIP, my man. Sorry I couldn't do better. ... Enjoy my "I'm rather high and autistic" speal.
