Chad winking at the camera when he's trying to convince you he won't wake you up in the morning - TOO funny!! Hold onto each other, you two. I'm much older than you both and I can tell you that your relationship is a BRILLIANT one - brimming full of love, honesty, maturity, commitment and an ace sense of shared humour. These are gold. Don't ever give up on grounds of temporary physical distance - what you have is worth all the tea in China!

This video brought back traumatic memories of night shift 😂 I am NOT a night person and can’t really sleep during the day so nights were rough. My stomach would get really upset and sometimes I’d get really woozy around 4am. Some people love it though! I had colleagues who worked nights for decades. Good luck!

When I worked nights I would get 3 hours of sleep and feel god awful when I woke. I had no energy to do anything besides working.

I’ve worked permanent nights for 15 years in the NICU, but rough that they split your nights, I’d pick up an extra shift in the middle if they did that to me to keep my sleep pattern on track or swap my shift. As for routine, go to bed late the night before, get up early they sleep before your night shift. Take snacks and a main meal to eat in the middle of the night. Drink plenty of water. Eat breakfast before you go to bed. Good luck, you do get used to them xx

I have been working nights the past year and YES I get nauseous all the time!! People think it’s so weird so I’m glad I’m now not the only one. Hahaha I just realized after a certain time I can’t eat anymore food and it doesn’t happen as often

Not a nurse, but I worked nights for 7 years. I don’t miss it. It messes up your bodies schedule. You find yourself tried all the time, or have no life outside of work. Good luck on night shift. But on a sidenote, definitely recommend getting black out curtains.

I currently work night shift and I actually like it overall. Switching your schedule from nights to days on my day off takes me 1.5 days but I love the night shift vibes. I snack A LOT during night shift so bring a lot of different ones depending on what I will like. I also prefer to eat HOT foods during night shift because it’s extremely cold at nights. Wishing you Goodluck!

why hospital uniforms so ugly?? Haha jk. Key to night shift is the morning workouts. I love the cortisol pumps in the morning for working out, you gotta try it. Remember day shift is not superior to night shift. There are pros and cons of both.
