You can wash the braid hair to remove the "itchy" chemicals or just buy itch free hair. That's what i do. If not, i get breakouts on my neck and scalp

If you soak the hair in ACV before install, it should take off the preservatives that are on the hair which is likely the irritant

First of all, I started my recent healthy hair journey a couple of years ago and you have been one of my favorites for imparting knowledge, techniques and product recommendations that have benefitted me tremendously. Thank you. And because you are my girl, I offer this to you in the spirit of positivity because I would want someone to tell me...the “ph” in phthalate is silent😘. But more importantly I’m loving the look and it’s always fun to change it up now and then. I also bought the Dyson, on your recommendation (Yes Sis you have caused me to spend a significant amount of coin over these two years, but it’s all been worth it!). Not that you will make a habit of straightening your hair, but Dyson now offers a comb attachment that might make it simpler. I haven’t used it yet, but I have it just in case... Be well and keep doing great content. 💖

When I get my box braids (1x per year) I cleanse really good and DC and also use ACV. It helps A LOT with the itch😉 I stretch my hair doing a few braids. When I get my hair professionally straighten ppl think its a weave...shrinkage is real😆 AND...NO HEAT DAMAGE😅 Love how look with braids AND natural curls😍😍
