Prepping our 84 VW Vanagon for Radwood. Part 1

I've Just signed up to bring our 84 Vanagon to Radwood in San Francisco on July 20th. Ive never actually brought a car, or van for this matter, to a show before, so this will be an experience. Georgie is far from a show car but I still think it'll be great to bring him in to SF to hang out with cars his own age.
I've a list of things I'd like to do before the show so I figured I'd bring you along for the spin.
Suspension, wheels, lighting, rear bumper, finish the sink, clean the carpets, deep clean interior, and tie up a few loose ends.
This will more than likely be a multi video series and I'll try to keep the videos on the shorter side.
I kick the prep off with a new to me windshield to replace the existing one that was having some delamination issues. I didn't break this one!
I've also fitted a front chin spoiler? valance? air dam? what ever you want to call it. This item was also taken off a different Vanagon, a newer van, but with a little fettling it fits up nicely and really cleaned up the front of the van.

I like it so far, time will tell I suppose. I wouldn’t have used the blow torch if it was uniformly colored. It needed a bit of extra work. I’m sure if you used it before it faded so much it would keep it nice.
