Looks like it works like a charm Don. I don't blame you, I would reuse as much as I could to cut down on waste. Great Info Brother!!

Anxious to see how those next lures are made and how they do in the tourney. I also didn't realize just how many lures you're painting. Seems like quite a few now! Very cool Don!

Thanks Ryan ! Currently at this time I have 25 different lures / patterns down at the Smith River Trading Post. If you include the 6 lures / Patterns I did on the Buck Tales Outdoors Giveaway videos I have now painted over 30 different patterns, not all of which I made videos for but should have. There’s only so much time in the day especially when I still want to get out and fish and make those videos as well. Bobby has room on the tackle wall for me to bring down 5 additional Lures/ patterns but I am currently in the process of painting duplicates of the ones that are selling, most of which are the ones I thought would go first. I have several other patterns in my head that I want to paint but right now I just want to keep up with what is selling. Never thought it would become a full time job but hey I’ll make hay while the sun is shining.👍 Those primed lures in the Paint booth were painted in a perch pattern , I did 4 and kept one for myself. When I took em down to Bobby’s shop he claimed one right off the bat and both the others sold the same day. Guess I need to paint more of those before the big Memorial Day weekend.

Very nicely done, looks perfect to me sir, Since you showed us the bill, when you do your final coat of epoxy, do you just do the lure and not epoxy the bill since you have them looking so good. Love how well they turned out. Thanks again for taking the time to share this with us and know it is appreciated. These tips and tricks you learn along the way and then share with others are priceless my friend. Thanks again. dale

Thanks Dale ! Once I have given the bills 2 coats of 2X clear they don’t need to be epoxied so I just put the epoxy on the body itself. Letting that dry on the rotisserie pretty much keeps the epoxy off of the bill. Even though it adds a couple extra steps and another 12 hours to the process, I am way happier with the results of doing it this way than I was when I epoxied the bills at the same time as the lure body. I really think it makes for a better overall appearance and does not affect the performance of the lure at all. Thanks for your continued support my friend. Don
