Prepping to Fight Inflation... Save Money!

I bought air and oil filters for my car, and oil for oil changes, and some basic parts to keep my stove and washing running - because it can be so hard to get parts. I did this in an overabundance of caution, but also because I know several people who cannot get parts to repair their car and some household appliances. I suspect we are entering a true Depression, and tools and basics to keep things running seems to me to be something my grandmother would tell me to do, as she lived through many years of hard times. So, I did it.

Good for you! Whenever I have a few extra dollars, I buy any consumables I hear may be entering a shortage period, etc. Worst case scenario, they sit on my shelf for a while. As I mentioned in the video, it will all get used eventually, and it will most likely be more expensive in the future. I'll have it if/when I need it and I'll probably save some money too. A true Win Win!
