Great idea to consolidate, even if you’re NOT moving! Makes every pot more lush and beautiful, cuts way down on the watering chore, and makes more room for new plants! Win, win, win! 💖💖💖

Im not quite sure why youtubers stress so much about background noise. Unless someone is using a leaf blower or jackhammering or there's a 5 alarm fire next door, I never really pay any mind to the background noises. That being said, Im excited about the move for you, Nick, and I hope it's quieter for your own peace of mind.

May I suggest to build a skinny line table at the height of the new window sill & width in the new apartment to aid your to fit your plants. So that plants will still have space & light to grow.
@gomezaddams64703 жыл бұрын
That's what I did just to extend the one I had I actually went and got my very skinny older fish tank stand because there is an electric heater underneath this window which I cover with massive jars of water and have the heat pushed away from going straight up. Where were moving there's no anything it's just off grid. I'm going to have to consolidate mine just to make it. I'm so afraid they're going to freeze in the winter! I am literally going to build a greenhouse in my attic! Until we get things in order proper with all the off grid everything that's all there is up there. I'm not complaining I love the idea I just have my houseplants to worry about. In five years everything will be under control and beautiful. But in the meantime they have to have a consistent environment so I think that attic is going to become a greenhouse with its own little solar heater and of course all use an LED light

Thank you I've been very much a plant snob about keeping my species separate which I was not before! But I watched a plant show that said I should because whatever the reason was and I believed them. But I am moving such a long-distance up to an off-grid Farmhouse that is going to be very difficult to keep my plants at a consistent temperature because it is off grid! So much light so beautiful but if I don't have some sort of enclosure that has its own environment meaning its own solar panel and its own temperature control. Because until we get situated we're 100% wood stove heat and I do not want my plants freezing when somebody sleeps too long in the fire goes out. I lost a hoya that was show-quality it was huge and it bloomed hundreds of blooms constantly it never stopped! Once it stopped for about a week and then it went right back to Bloomin 24/7 always. I moved into a house with slumlords no heat except for there was a hole in the wall for a fireplace meanwhile it got so cold that my Hoya actually froze to death and I am devastated still to this day I kept its roots and the shape of the stem because it looked art nouveau Oh, I thought I'll make it into something one day it was huge I worship to this thing it was my baby I bought it for $0.05 when I was 4 years old a leaf in a cup at my soon-to-be school carnival. One day when I had somebody there helping me clean they threw it in the garbage and I will never forget it it got taken before I knew. They didn't understand. These plans I have only one is super sentimental the rest I just adore. These couple months of Summer they'll be fine it's a hundred degrees but then after four weeks of fall it starts dropping down into the low twenties Fahrenheit during the day and then single-digit at night or at least low low teens period by October it is lower than 0 at night. It's going to take about five years to get the house regular. LOL regular haha anyway as best as it can be for an off grid house in the middle of nowhere. Eventually I will have a wood heated Greenhouse or Atrium connected to my house. But all of this stuff takes time it's just two people learning new skills. Luckily the other person nose electrical and can harness our batteries and solar power into something usable. I'm having just the worst day of anxiety. So I probably am just babbling thank you so much for this video you're making me feel like I can do all this and get it done and be okay the problem is... I cannot work outside because I have somebody who's quite violent above me dropping things on me and I need to do the same thing with my outdoor plants and some of those belong to my mother who passed away not all that long ago. I am so devastated by my parent's death that I haven't been able to cry because of the harassment I've been through here, hence the moving up into the middle of nowhere where there's literally bears and cougars within two miles I have two Neighbors on my 40-minute driveway that is rough and rugged spiraling up a mountain. Then it is 4 hours to town but I have 20 acres to make beautiful gardens and food outside once I know how to fence them in properly to deal with the deer and everything else I'll have things digging underneath but luckily some of it will be kind of wild crop I will go to the land across the street from the 20 acres and so it with things like oats an edible grasses for the deer to eat over there so that they've got things to do other than raid my garden. I'm going to try it the nice way because I'm not killing anything we're vegan for 56 years plus one of us is older. I wish you such good luck with your move I think you probably already have by now I didn't even look at the date of the video. The phone was listening so it picked this for me period that is always so creepy.👣🐾💜🐸🌱🥦

I always pack my plants last when I move. I want them to experience the least amount of time out of their normal environment because I grow them under LEDs so theyre used to pretty stable conditions. Rewatching this and actually wanting to cry at your Cebu Blue, after a year of wanting one of these plants and seeing how fast they grow I bit the bullet.
