I have to say I've never made/tried any of your savory dishes. However I have made SO many of your dessert dishes! And I have to say they are always a hit with my family and friends. They'll tell me things like, "I can't order tiramisu after having yours" and I always say Preppy Kitchen! Tiramisu Pumpkin Bread Key lime pie Pumpkin cookies Chocolate chip cookies Chocolate mousse Strawberry frosting with your Chocolate cupcakes Gingerbread cookies (those are amazing just plain!) So many times I have wanted those options in a recipe but have had to guestimate and no guarantee of success. Different ingredient options is also great because sometimes you really need them so you aren't constantly buying new ingredients that won't necessarily get used often. Thanks this is a beautiful cake! I know see why you whip the butter so long White for a white cake. But that airy butter mixture mixes in so uniformly! I’ve seen “tv chefs” just scoop out the flour and not seemingly worried about accidentally using more flour; not sure when I started, but I fluff my flour with a fork and then put it in my measuring cups - somewhere, I have a plastic fork with only three tines….my flour fluffer 😂 - then I invested in a digital scale, but the three tine fork is still used. The cake looks yummmylicious!
