Different country I know but as an Australian citizen and Aged Pensioner I pay AUD7.70 for a Prescription Drug until I have paid in total for a financial year AUD277.00. Once that threshold has been reached all my prescription medications are free for the rest of the year. That is one of the benefits of having a medicare programme that actually works. The irony of this is that all, or at least most, of these medications come from America. I read recently that a Ventolin puffer is about USD124 in America, and I pay for AUD7.70 for two. I believe that even over the counter, Ventolin is about AUD12. Have all the sufferers of the felons regime considered immigration to Australia. One impediment is that you cannot have been convicted a crime so that makes your convict in chief ineligible (another bonus)

OMG! Excuse the spelling and grammar. I'm doing this blind because I just came back from the doctor to get my Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) injections. However, I was sitting in the lobby and listening to these elderly ladies (60s and 70s) worried about Trump threatening to cut Medicare and medicaid. So they were at the retina specialist getting their monthly eye injections which cost 2k per each eye. Well! Good Days is a national non-profit charitable organization that lifts the burdens of chronic illness through assistance, advocacy, and awareness. They basically pay for the injections, cancer treatment, etc when the insurance companies don't or pay the difference. All the elderly today arriving for their appointments were given bad news. Good Days Foundation has lost their founding. The insurance companies don't pay for the good drug only the inferior drug. Then Good Days pays the rest. Today those patients had to decide to either pay 2k an eye or go with the drug that doesn't work to control the swelling behind their retinas. You should have seen the looks on their faces when they left the doctors office. When I was getting my eye injections I could over hear the doctor explaining it to them and they literally had to choose what eye to go blind in. I just felt like crying for them because if they don't get the injection, they could go blind within the year. And now with the threat of Trump possibly cutting medicare and medicaid. I wonder how many of them wish they hadn't voted for trump.
