I'll say this, the line "There's an excellent man in you Tyler. I look forward to meeting him someday." has stuck with me considerably ever since I saw it. Chris Sullivan does such a good job at selling the disappointment he has for his son's behaviour.

Now, this is an interesting concept that is tricky to pull right.

While not quite the same as this the POV technique was [I believe] first used in Raymond Chandler adaption 'Lady in the Lake' in 1947'. I'm most familiar with it from Mitchell+ Webb modern classic sitcom 'Peep Show' [with Olivia Colman].

The second time Lucy Liu has appeared on this channel in recent months although hopefully this is better than 'Red One' [fun fact: she is has the most appearances as Dr Watson of any actor thanks to 'Elementary's long run'].

Gee, a marketing campaign for a movie that lies about its genre? I haven't heard that one before... **holds up a copy of Man of the Year**

While Soderbergh has done franchise work [with the 'Ocean's+ Magic Mike series] he very much does his own thing [along with being the editor and DOP on his films under Pseudonym's] which is commendable in these 'franchise' dominated times. I really enjoy a lot of his films ['Out of Sight', 'Solaris', Logan Lucky'] and interesting to see 'Black Bag' given the quality of the cast when that comes out in March.

Soderbergh is great. Main stream but experimental. He’s like Robert Zemeckis arty younger brother.

Soderberg fascinates me. I should study him to copy his techniques.

I really do wish you started doing Bad Movie Beatdown again. I mean, in your recent crossovers with Diamanda Hagan, one can see you still have the comedic talent that made people follow you for years! But also you can probably see from the comment and like numbers that your more serious professional movie reviews are just not bringing in that sort of numbers. I understand if this is something of a secondary job for you then you would not invest in it, but since you have a Patreon for this, I dunno? At any rate, I feel there would be interest from people - new and old watchers - if you started doing more comedic reviews of bad movies again. Just my 2 cents.

I did anticipate this one might be a bit niche. It's always going to fluctuate, but there's only so many times I can do the "angry review" stuff. What I want to try to be is more consistent, in general.

Personally I'm over the 'Angry review' genre [especially 'reacting to clips'] and appreciated Film Brain doing excellent projector videos instead. It doesn't help most 'Angry reviews' these days are just jerks complaining everything is 'woke'.
