Excellent video. I am trying to create a similar video but my transition for grow/shrink does not allow me to go to 1500%. At the most I can go to "huge" and that is 400%. So the cutout text does not exit fully. Any reason you can think of why I cannot go beyone 400?

Excellent video. In Powerpoint 365 I was not able to change the Grow/Shrink effect to grow to 1500% as suggested in the your excellent tutorial. Even after you change it as you demonstrated to 1500% in the customs option, to goes back to 150%. You can, at the most, increase it to 400% which is called 'huge'. So my text does not really go out of the screen to show the full background video. Any solution?

Thanks for watching! PowerPoint 2010 has some merge features. But they are kind of limited. You can write the text in a rectangle and set the Fill Color to NONE. Shapes can be subtracted.

Quick tip: when using the custom grow option, after you've added the size you want, (i.e. 1500%), hit 'Enter', not 'Ok', as nothing changes when you hit 'Ok'... Took me an irritating while to figure that little bugger out!
