If we’re being nerdy-and we love to get all nerdy-bass presence in filters is determined by the topology of the filter, not by any kind of "resonance compensation" mechanisms. Take our Swiss Army Knife filter: it doesn’t drop bass as you push the resonance. By controlling how hot you feed the filter, you can actually displace the resonance, achieving an incredibly musical and controlled balance between the resonance peak and your audio material. It’s perfect for bass sounds. Maybe "resonance balancing architecture" is a more accurate term? Now, the Bread and Butter filter is a different story. It does lose a bit of bass as you push resonance, giving you that sweet, classic ladder filter sound. But don’t worry-it’s not thin by any means. Its familiar bass response gives you an instant '70s vibe, especially when you add a touch of drive. Then there’s our Phat filter from the "Evil" collection-a 5-pole monster with a bass saturation mechanism reminiscent of certain famous bass synthesizers. It delivers an extra-chunky low end for a truly fat sound. And that’s just scratching the surface. We’ve got warbly filters, nasal filters, screaming filters, raspy and fizzy filters-Filterverse is an entire playground for creative sound design. Here are some tips to get the most out of Filterverse: Experiment with input gain: Most of our filters saturate and have headroom, just like analog filters. Pushing gain into the input will dramatically change the filter’s sound-and in dramatically different ways for each filter. Explore the unique ones: While we’ve poured our hearts into creating phenomenal classic filters, Filterverse is also about the future, with exclusive designs you won’t find anywhere else-and more are coming. @@PolyverseMusic shame you don't allow license transfers. The GUI is way to busy and difficult to get around currently, however the presets are extremely good. You also need a full window display as an option to manipulate the filters instead of tiny knobs that are difficult to use especially when in a tracking scenario which requires speed.

@@PolyverseMusic Thats true to certain extent, however bass compensation ensures the low transients are brought back to life regardless of what the filter is capable of. The 3rd Wave synth has this option and its a game changer.

That said, it’s worth noting that oscillators themselves don’t inherently produce transients.
