My trusty wee impact is 11 years old, and still going strong 😆👌🏻 Between toolbelts, bit sets, hand tools and my 18v gear; I must have well in excess of 50 different Makita products. They are by far the best tools. Wish I could afford the 40v stuff, but 18v is plenty powerful for professional use.

Makita has stopped table saw because of the SawStop letter.

Like the battery placement on th 6 1/2 saw, will it cut a 45 bevel through 2x4 ? Some say yes some say no.

Yes it will cut 1.64” on a 45 Bevel

The maximum cutting capacity on a 45 bevel for the Makita HS012GZ01 Circular Saw is 41mm (or 1.62"). Hope that helps 😊

Makita’s Packout knockoff is coming . Ironically, they just released a power supply that stacks on makpac and the original systainers.
