I was 13 in 95 when revival hit Brownsville. My cousin played drums for them and he told his dad(my pastor and uncle) that revival is there and he needed to come and bring his church. We went and my heart was captivated at 13 years old. All I wanted to do was to get in the presence of God. Someone made me a cassette from worship and I would lock myself in my room for hours and play this worship over and over. Sweet memories of encounters with just me and the Holy Spirit.

That was better than me... When I was 13, I would lock myself in my room and play "rock and roll" music...But, I got saved in April 1968 and I BURNED all of my "rock and roll" records outside in the incinerator...Then, I was FREE...!!!....I would suggest that all Christians would do the same thing... Get rid of ALL if the ungodly music... If you don't have an incinerator, don't worry about it (use the garbage can), but DON'T give this music to anybody else, because it might "affect" them.......

My mom attended Brownsville when she was in college. Funny thing is that at the same time her dad (my grandpa) led Ravenna Assembly of Good in an incredible revival that put a mark in thousands of lives. I'm desperate for people to know Jesus and I'm only 12 years old. But sometimes you just can't contain that mighty power! Do it again, Lord! I need Revival! Hallelujah!

I attend Heritage Fellowship in Florence Kentucky. My Pastor Cleddie Keith is friends with your grandfather. He spoke there during revival back in the day. Heritage had revival break out right before Brownsville. I grew up in religion, I missed the great moves of God in the 1990’s. But I believe the Church as a whole hasn’t seen anything yet! Listening back to these services and worship still carry the Presence of God in Dec 2022 as they did in 1995; I got saved in the Revival only one month in, and that was in that Revival for 5 years. There were times that I thought I was ascending in the Throne room of GOD. Now more than ever we need HIS PRESENCE and POWER for the End Times. I am ruined as there is nothing in this world that can satisfy but the Manifest presence of our Holy King. Come Lord, we are so hungry for You

It's still wonderful!! God brought me to Brownsville...I was hungry and thirsty,and he filled me. We have been thru a lot since then.Steve Hill is gone home.People have gone here and there-and many have been scattered.Our nation has been so tried and troubled..the world seems so dark now.But. Revival is coming -an OUTPOURING is coming.Oh it's going to rain!!!

This is just as anointed now in December of 2021 as it was in 1998. I had the blessing of going to Brownsville during the revival. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Regular services just don’t cut it. Once you’ve been in a service with the Holy Spirit moving like it did there, you are ruined (in a good way). Never the same again. Lord, send revival to America and the world 🌎 again.

My daughter was 15 when we attended. God had already called her to ministry. We went as often as we could. Then in 1999 I was blessed to get a job transfer to Pensacola. She wanted to attend School of Ministry which she did and graduated in 2000.

I was in the choir at Brownsville during the revival and I know the lyrics, but not sure if the title would be "Praise Ye the Lord, or "lift up your hands all ye people" I also put in all the words and still could not get a hit. I will say that many of our choir songs came from Christ Church in Nashville where Lindell had worked, we also sang some from Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. You might see if one of those places has them. I I will see if I can get that information for you

there is a lot of information on this "revival" online.....not any of it is good, actually....It was a planned event by the church's pastor who benefitted financially from the revival (as did the evangelist). If I were you, i would delete this video and any like it.....PLEASE, look it up on line and read the reports and fabrications and outright lies about the preachers and the revival itself.
