I’ve had my Thomas for just under a year now, and have had no problems with it. It does what I need it to do. I can get out 15 miles using a Wilson 1000 with no problem.

On Tuesday I Ordered A "President George FCC" Radio From Bell's CB In South Fl., It Will Be Delivered This Coming Monday, Only Place That Actually Had Some On The Way To Them ! They Got Their Shipment On Thursday & Sent Mine Out The Same Day !! I Great Customer Service !!!

I asked my local radio store who is one of the main suppliers of president radio's in the UK and he told me there is talk of a George 2 but if it comes it won't be until early 2024 next year.. He said he has been asked many times by his customers if it can be pre ordered and they were all disappointed that it's just a photo on the internet put out there for a reaction and not even in production yet.. Don't take my word for it though I'm just passing on the suppliers perspective.. he says president often put out hints to see what the feedback is and if there is enough interest they move forward with production.. Personally I think it will be just another export model that does the same as all the others.. then after a year or two there will be a version 2 with some silly correction like other companies do with their radios to rinse pockets of customers a little more.

I run the previous version of the Bill in two of my vehicles. As soon as you mentioned the USB port, which I forgot existed, I knew I had solved my 'phone takes forever to charge' problem I have in the 2010 Sentra. I also have the previous version of the Randy and that factory antenna surprised me. I was having S5 conversation with my factory stock Cobra 29 in my truck from 8.5 miles away. The filtering in the radio that rejects noise is simply amazing. My Randy puts out 3w high power (even powered by 12vdc) and .75 watts low power. President makes great consumer grade electronics radios.

Thank you. I have had several folks recommend a President Lincoln 2 for my truck. However, I really like and need weather channels with warnings. I can’t find a President with those features in a high quality chassis.

With my last 2 Linc 2+ radio failures and a Bunk from the factory McKinley, I think I'll pass as well on the Pres line of rigs. Although as 390 has tested and used the ones he has, very small market for a pocket size mobile other than install capability in these newer autos. I haven't had any issues with any of the Anytone units I have had or still have, but then again, those are not a typical "CB". The days of the screaming Cobra 29LTD or even a Cobra 25LTD and I'll even go as far as the cheap junker that alot of us younger party/camping kids had in our mobiles, The Cobra 19+. Midland, I sure wish they'd come out with a "PC122" style mobile of decent quality, but they seem to be comfortable with GMRS market at the moment. Don't get me started on the Uniden 510, 520xl units hated those things...lol Cobra 19+ into a TS 350 Black Widow was my mobile in the CJ5. Antenna was a 'Power Stick" top load with ajustable stinger 5.5Ft-er. But then I grew up......sorta ;-)

all of them are just lame. president is going downhill fast and lost their way just like cobra. what a shame too, they were great.
