I got the pleasure of sitting down and talking with then Senator Obama in fall of 2007 at the opening of his 2nd National Campaign Headquarters in Davenport Iowa. Honestly (and amazingly) Mr Obama hasn't changed a lick this is very much representative of what the President is really like. What you see is what you get, it's not a Side Show Act like Trump's character playing ....

What's incredible in this interview is that Barack and Derek talk about Dr. J, Martin Luther King, Jackie Robinson and Muhammad Ali leaving a lasting positive legacy in the world decades after they retired. In the same vein, both Barack and Derek who idolize these people will also be talked about the same exact way 100 years from now. So, it amazes me beyond words to hear legends talk about other legends. That's like Michael Jordan talking about how much he respects Babe Ruth's legacy even though he is at that same iconic level. This interview is rare and should be put in the National Library of Congress.

I will agree with Barack that in Derek's last year he was very old. In fact, I might have seen Derek trying to run with a walker from second to third during a triple he hit. I think Joe Girardi might have pulled Jeter from the game at that point from exhaustion. Walkers are not allowed in baseball so Jeter must have gotten a Fifty Thousand dollars fine. Well deserved fine.

Patrick Barrett To see evidence that this man has been working throughout his Presidency. Signs of stress are all over him. His vacation hours are normal for a president. He can't overextend them if he wanted to. Attending a baseball game during Brussels? Gee whiz I'm sure Obama knew about the attack before he went to the game, other wise why would he have gone?
@fquint64688 жыл бұрын
This is seriously such a pathetic comment, are you kidding. I don't know your political affiliations but if you're a republican this is quite a hypocritical statement. Obama has tried and is continuously trying to do things but thanks to the most whiny, childish republican congress ever nothing gets done. The republicans vowed the day Obama stepped into office 8 years ago that they we're going to make his presidency a waste of time and they would work their hardest to block everything he wants to do... Yet Obama has still made some great achievements in Obamacare, Cuba, job growth, marriage equality and tons more all you need for do is research.
