I guess why the SE development commission was not mentioned is that the govt is gradually submitting to the agitations of IPOB. The people of SE have really endured a lot in the Nigerian project. One can only imagine where Igbos would have been if they had enjoyed equal opportunity like other zones.

Why don’t make it constitutional to mandate that nomination of Ministers MUST include their specific portfolio.. So they can be screened based on their profession and knowledge of the job they about to take up. That will help to recruit some best hands in many areas of work

@SCh9912 Good question, and I like that you humbly asked. In democratic system of government, the president has NO power to make a constitution. It is the business and job of lawmakers (House of Reps and the Senators). The President can ONLY forward his bill of intrest but it has very low weight. The lawmakers submit a bill that will be debated before it can later be a law or constitution.

@SCh9912 Please in Democratic system of government it is lawmakers that make laws and after carefully debate and if it succeeded then it becomes constitution implemented.
