President Trump leaves Walter Reed hospital

President Trump was discharged from Walter Reed on Monday after spending three days receiving treatment for the coronavirus. "Feeling really good! Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life," Mr. Trump wrote in a tweet announcing his departure from the hospital. He had been at Walter Reed since Friday evening.

India said it worked great over there. I just looked that up last week, cures Malaria , too. A month ago, I found out he doesn't keep any of his paycheck at all, so that would be plenty to cover it. I am just looking at it, from someone who wants everyone to get cured! It's been the worst year of our lives & I think we have to get back to normal. My Dad's Aunt was in a nursing home, she had to move to be closer to relatives, so she got out right before quarantine. She was extremely lucky, but so many other people weren't. They died after being exposed to the virus in there. If my great Aunt was forced to stay in there, she would have caught the virus for sure, & she would be dead! I want it to be over, so I can finish my last yr. of college & be on campus with my friends.

@Johnny Nemo the only complications I ever heard of on the news involved the lung, and honestly, that's exactly what it looks like: that he probably had and has lung involvement. It would be very typical for a Covid case that needed a doctor's supervision. Just the fact that his blood oxygen levels had dropped on Friday and he needed oxygen twice would indicate lung involvement. And, his doctors, who seem like excellent doctors but also pressed to please the President...they avoid answering questions about his lungs scans (it's almost the only thing they won't talk about directly) and, they're mainly answering lung questions by saying he reports feeling great, his vitals are "fine" and that he hasn't received supplemental oxygen....not the same as whether he should be receiving it. In his most recent video, it sounds to me like he is slightly winded when he is talking. He got world class care as soon as he started showing symptoms, and now they've got him on a strong steroid, which will tamp down the inflammation in his respiratory tract (and artificially make him feel like superman)... but wiping out the virus is not the same as erasing the places where it started damaging his lungs. That needs to heal. Hopefully, he is spending a lot of his days resting and following doctors orders so they heal up correctly, as Covid can cause lung scarring, especially at the bottom of the lungs (my grandmother got that, and she had antibody serum and remdesivir, too)

Social Security is not part of the general fund. It currently has a surplus. Medicare and Medicaid depend on how many sick people there are. Perhaps you would prefer to just shoot the sick people. Treat them or let them suffer and die slowly are the two alternatives to just humanely killing them. Reducing the size of the military is the only moral way to reduce veterans benefits. If you do that you could improve a lot of other matters.

I think he's been positive longer than he let on and is still pretending to be more healthy than he is... it's not *super* uncommon for milder cases to last a week or so and he is getting experimental drugs... It is also possible that the steriod and other medications are just making him seem better and he'll get worse still.
