The queen was amazed n intrigued by the reception by this little civilized black republic. Something she has never seen in any black African country on the continent.

Satisfactory video...When other African leaders were busy enlarging their countries, Liberian President were too busy smoking Cuban Cigar.....
@gemjewelle26873 жыл бұрын
At this time there were only a few independent African countries and the rest were attempting to gain independence, so how were they enlarging compared to what Tubman was doing?

Country was better off with Americos in charge no doubt but they were too caught up in appearances.
@Speedy3004 жыл бұрын
😂😂😂You have to understand the political game. If the West is not in charge, destruction and mayhem will follow suit, which is the African narrative. This is so true for countries with natural resources. If you notice, countries with the least amount of natural resources have the least amount of problems ( this by design).

These celebrations are not considered as important anymore; Instead lavished political conventions that are sometimes nonsensical

The natives were not just prepared to take over the leadership of the country due to extreme power greed, disunity among themselves and the same rampant corruption they advocated against. I think the Americo-Liberian was the lesser evil of the two.

You are a complete disgrace to your people. There were many highly educated natives working in the government that could also rule Liberia and do better than Tubman but they were all suppressed.
