You missed the point of that argument. He is saying people should not think that just because Bawumia is the one calling for a debate, it should mean he is more superior and that a person calling for a debate could rather be inferior to their opponent. So their refusal to debate him doesn't mean they're scared of him. Calling for a debate doesn't automatically make you a winner as people are suggesting.
