R.I.P. 💐 My parents always respected the Hon. Peng who really looked after community members in Taoyuan very well. He had been involved in building social cohesion for residents in Taoyuan for many years. His son is now following his footsteps which are very encouraging and beneficial to Taoyuan. I had a glimpse of him this year. I was thinking if I should say hello to him on behalf of my parents. However, I didn’t want to be such impolite to create more burden to his body. After I got home, I told my Dad that “I saw Hon. Peng, but you didn’t go with me. He looked very ill. So, if you and mom would have a bit time, please visit him.” R.I.P. again and god bless Taiwan 🙏

I forgot to say. My family has different political views. Peng was one amongst some resolving conflicts of our different political views to unite my family. Coincidentally, they were all from DPP instead of KMT or TPP in Taiwan. My condolence to such a legend for Taiwan path towards democracy.
