I mean, if it adds to the story in some way, then have at it. But in starfieldbit literally does absolutely nothing, which I find a massive problem. Especially when you look at BG3. I modeled my character after my gf and went in blind and ran into karlach, welp, didn't know my character was gonna end up a lesbian and that added to thr actual story in big ways. This shut in starfield is simply fucking pandering to the loudest minority. Pandering to weak people makes everyone weak. Telling adults NO makes people strong. Again, it serves zero purpose in starfield so its absolutely dog piss that it's a forced option. Docs take on it when he was live was how pretty much everyone feels about it. I identify as a nigga, so until I see that as an option, I think it's all pretty fucking dumb.
