I like classic-WOTLK because the private servers are great. Screw paying $10+ a month to play an older game you're only going to play on some weekends though. The game is great but when you have a wife, kids, and a mortgage payment/bills by the time you get home it's already nearly 7pm and it's time for dinner. By the time dinner is over it's 8 and by that point I'm shot and don't feel like video games since I get up at 7am and am at work by 8am so I like to be in bed by 10pm after spending a couple hours with my wife. On weekends it's a different story though, on Friday-Saturday I usually can get in 2-3 hours each day from 8pm-10 or 11pm because I let the kids stay up until midnight and my wife and I are usually up until 1-2am. On Sunday we have church and on Monday it's back to work/school so we're always in bed by 10-11pm so it's generally movie night so it's easier to get to sleep, maybe a read a few chapters from a book but never video games. So that's why I like the older way versions and their private servers, the rates are generally 2-3x the regular rates of the official servers and you can make a lot of progress in even 4 hours a week and their is no price tag. Beats buying video games when you rarely get to play them lol.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with Sleepy the Pervert on OSRS, however, after what they did to the classic Recruitment drive quest replacing the puzzle where you have to go into it as a female character to defeat him, along with other nonsense, I have to give it at least B-tier, RS3 on the other hand, easy S-tier with more to do, Wildy can be a Pk free zone if you use that setting.
