Presonus Audiobox iTwo Mic input problem

I don't have this problem with the audiobox iTwo - NT1A condenser works fine. Problem is with SM57 dynamic mic - I get nothing except fuzz at max volume.

I’m having the same exatc problem. I did Voice recordings and the track had low frequence noise. Now I’m looping forward to a better quality interface.

I have the same issue. The only thing I’ve managed to do is to turn the mix knob more into the “input” side than to the “playback”, around 9 o clock on the mix knob. At least I can hear my monitoring better and don’t feel the need to crack the mic gain knobs to the max. Still, very poor performance from this interface.

I have the same exact problem. Shure sm58. The mic and cable work fine when plugged into PA

Will return my iostation 24c for the same reason and also because of stability issues in logic pro.

Redundant now but I managed to fix this same problem ..... for me it appears to be sample rate of Universal Control app for itwo was set to 44 and DAW was set to 48

I had an USB microphone before and just bought an XLR (Marantz MPM-1000) and I have the exact problem.. Only the last three steps on the knob are working. Luckily I ordered another interface also. Good to know that I'm not the only person and Presonus appearantly f*cked it up somehow.
