The bass playing alone in just incredible but I've never seen anyone make electronic drums (especially by hand) sound so realistic! Such raw talent from just 3 guys on stage. Amazing!

I saw a show at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale about 6 years ago with Victor Wooten and JD. Blair. They did a 4 hour show with small breaks here and there.Played every possible style of music including a few original metal songs!Drums and Bass only, no other instruments.Victor Wooten is unbelieveable!

I got to attend a Victor Wooten clinic once and it was seriously the most amazing thing ever. I learned more in a few hours with him than in seven years of classical training. I love seeing this man groove. Steve Bailey is amazing in his own right and I just love watching these guys.

Hey soundartproject! While I imagine you can work something out with MIDI foot controllers, I don't think there's a dedicated hi-hat input like on other pad controllers. The Maschine is made by Native Instruments, not PreSonus, so I recommend getting in touch with them about the specs!

If I was there, I would of course visit mighty Victor Wooten and walk away dissapointed by him. And hugely impressed by David Haynes. The drummer was amazing, Steve Bailey very good. Mr. Wooten spent years teaching that no one is interested in bass soloing unless it has groove, and now he´s doing this.

this was great every part of it. mad respect. to every musician. Steve. fingers. and Victor. I just got done listening to so low solo by Steve he is an awesome bassist. I am a fretless player and he is very inspiring so just wonder why no one can give itbup to him because he is sitting next to one if not the best bass player in the world? and fingers cuz he's on the pad. you still have to have a mad drum skills to even come up with that beat. music boner is a full on rager

Steve Bailey's bass... it just sounds like glass. It's so smooth and unique. Fretless people always try and get that growly tone, it seems. His sounds like a cello being plucked with a lot more sustain.

Never noticed how fretless bass lends itself so perfectly to playing chords due to having enough space to actually cramp all your fingers into a chord shape - with fretless guitar (yes, i have one), you just can't do it. And sustain is a different story altogether... Very inspiring!
