My heart absolutely breaks for this young man’s family. I believe APD handled the situation as best as possible. Thank you for publishing the body-cam footage and keeping us informed. Also, I would like to volunteer and help out the APD somehow. Please tell me how I can get involved. 🙏🏼

The car *was* a grey sedan and parked on academy/Webb Bridge and Westside Parkway facing northbound. That was where the police shut down the road to do the first press conference. This is in a totally different area and a totally different car-there is no on ramp at Webb Bridge. Can you clear up this indiscrepancy?

The dash cam shows the action heading south, the stop on the southbound exit ramp at Mansell, body cams on the exit ramp at Mansell, then the car stopped across on the other side of Mansell. What is the reference to Webb Bridge about? Also, "indiscrepancy" isn't a word. You mean "discrepancy."

It’s a dangerous job, glad the officer is no worse for wear. Why people do what they do is beyond me but Dante solved the situation.

I'm on the side of the police on this one. If you just do what the police say, you'd be on your way....but no......so you pay the price and I have ZERO sympathy.

Look at the southbound exit ramp at the Mansell Rd & GA-400 intersection on a map, then right where the exit intersects Mansell. You'll see there's a grass median there. The car went down the exit ramp, across the Mansell westbound lanes, across the median, and onto the Mansell eastbound lanes.
