All you Spurs 'fans' who wanted Ange out and players out should stay humble like Haaland. COYS

I'm loving that all those muppets trying to scapegoat ange are hiding in the shadows now. Absolute fools to try and pinpoint him as the reason why we have such inconsistant performances. It's a mentality thing with players in my opinion. Arrogant and think they don't need to push as hard against the 'lesser' teams. We need 100% effort every match regardless of the opponent, not just turn up against the better known teams.
@Codie__28 минут бұрын
Yeah they’ll probably shy away from giving him credit and say that the result was a fluke. A fluke going to the home of the champions and making them look silly. Probably shouldn’t react to them in the future.

In this day and age, fans just.o on managers and the team after every little blip but I think it's clear to see this team is on the right trajectory and with patience (something severely lacking in today's game), we will move on and taste success under Ange. I am 100% behind Ange, and that won't change if there's a blip further down the road in a few weeks.

@@Thereishope664 If the comment said 'some fans' instead of 'their fans' then it would have been a valid point: some people claiming to be fans go too far saying Ange should be sacked etc. In my opinion you need to step back and see the progress in the team as gradual, and we must judge Ange at the end of the season, not after an inconsistent spell. To say 'their fans' is wrong, as you say we are the most patient and loyal fans there are, which I am proud of! They don't always get it. COYS

FYI, We're not haters. We want Ange to succeed, we just want to see consistency. Today was amazing, but if our form this season is anything to go by, we're on track for a home defeat against Fulham next week. We realize you can't win them all, but it's unconvincing when we beat teams like City but then throw away games to the likes of Palace and Ipswich. Lets celebrate the win and the way we did it today. I will judge at the end of the season. Fingers crossed for a string of wins and decent results over the next few weeks/months. COYS

It's the inconsistency that's infuriating. Backing up these 5 star performances with wins against teams in the lower half of the league (like Ipswich & Palace) is what is stopping the team progressing.

It shows that the frailties within Spurs are baked in. It will take Ange and his group multiple years to overcome them as they existed within the squad, the coaching and the wider organisation. A winning mentality takes time to build. Today was somewhat easy because no one expected them to win. Champions win when they are expected to.

Today, before the match i was asked by a Spurs mate "are you ANGE in or ANGE out" ?? I said "i'm ANGE in", purely because we've had better credentialled Managers in the past (i.e. Mourinho, Conte) with whom we've achieved very little.
@ross4970Сағат бұрын
Ange was bought in to build a winning team. Pity for the fickle fans it's taking more than 16 months. Spurs are at the stage where no team will look forward to playing them. That's a start.

I like Ange, but he looks like a man who has a lot of worries in his life. He walked on the pitch after the City game like a man who had just came from a funeral. From the middle of last season he's looked like a man in grieving. I sincerely hope all is good in his private life. Tottenham's board have historically been ruthless with managers. They destroyed the mental health of poor Arthur Rowe back in the 50's. Ange doesn't look like a happy camper. A smile from him these days is as rare as a forward pass from Declan Rice. I find the change in his demeanor very concerning. He's gone from the happy go lucky, quotable Aussie, to a stressed out miserabilist, who believes the world will cease to be, one week before the season ends, with Spurs ten points clear at the top. Hope you do well this season mate, but remember life's too short to stay in a job which makes you unhappy. Forget the money. I think a gig with the Aussie national team would be more to your liking.

Not sure what you are talking about - this has always been Ange - he is now ultra serious as he wants to win the championship - just winning one match will not do that - I think you are mistaking his seriousness and commitment for unhappiness. Check out his longer press interviews if you want the occasional silly banter. And he already coached Australia and was the most successful coach we have had and coaching Australia is not an easy gig.
